Peter A. Britton has concentrated his legal career almost exclusively on criminal law. He began as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney in Elkhart County, Indiana, where he tried more than 70 cases to verdict. His prosecutorial work focused on drug offenses—investigating and prosecuting possession, distribution, and manufacturing cases—in collaboration with local and federal law enforcement. He also assisted the Elkhart County Interdiction and Covert Enforcement (ICE) Unit on long-term investigations and managed the county’s complex civil forfeiture program.
