The Cosumnes River Preserve, located at 13501 Franklin Blvd, Galt, CA 95632, is a protected wetland and riparian habitat managed by a partnership including The Nature Conservancy, Bureau of Land Management, and California Department of Fish and Wildlife. It features trails, birdwatching, and critical habitat for migratory birds.

Lovely area to enjoy the outdoors along the Cosummes River. Plenty of free parking with a nice Visitor Center. Different trails to walk that are easy for people or all ages. Many people taking out canoes and kayaks on the river and lots of birdwatching to be had. We had a great day outdoors. Scan the QR codes along the trails for some short audio tours. Great way to engage people.
