About Hart Memorial Park
Hart Memorial Park, one of Kern County's oldest parks, was dedicated in 1929 and renamed in 1947 in honor of Supervisor John O. Hart. Spanning 370 acres along the Kern River, the park features two picturesque lakes for fishing, a wide range of wildlife, and numerous picnic spots equipped with tables and grills. Me and my girl used to go there every Wednesday and Thursday about midnight to feed the raccoon skunks and possums can't do it no more but we still go there on Wednesdays and Thursday to enjoy the atmosphere beautiful place to go it is a must go
