I had been dealing with back pain on and off for about seven years. Eventually I was diagnosed with a left shoulder labrum tear, which had been contributing to my chronic back pain. Through a referral, I started working with Dr. Jason Won.
At the beginning of the treatment, Dr. Jay gave me early access to an app he developed, which allowed me to start doing desk mobility exercises right away. These exercises helped improve my spinal mobility even before our in-person sessions. During each visit, he carefully monitored my progress and adjusted the program accordingly.
After about two months of working together—focusing on strengthening my rotator cuff and improving my scapular mobility—my back pain gradually resolved.
I continued working with Dr. Jay for another 4 months as I returned to the gym. He also taught me about progressive overload and how it affects muscle development. With his guidance, I was able to rebuild my training routine and saw noticeable improvements in my physique and strength.
I appreciate Dr. Jay’s depth of knowledge in both rehabilitation and strength training. If you are someone who is disciplined about going to the gym, he always has more insights and techniques to help you continue improving.
I would recommend Dr. Jay to anyone in San Francisco or the Bay Area who is dealing with chronic back pain, joint issues, or long-term sports injuries that haven’t fully healed.
