I highly recommend Southwest Balance Dizziness & Ear Institute. After struggling with dizziness and vertigo for several months and feeling like I was running in circles searching for answers, I finally found real help here. I saw Dr. Day, and she was absolutely amazing. The evaluation was exceptionally thorough. They were able to clearly identify what was causing my symptoms, shared the results with me the same day, and promptly shared detailed results with my referring doctor so I can now move forward with the appropriate treatment plan. After months of uncertainty and frustration, this was the first place that provided clarity, direction, and hope. I’m incredibly grateful for their expertise and care.

I have gone here 2+ years for my hearing needs. Absolutely the best hearing aide techs, front office staff and Audiologist in the Phx metro area. Reliable communications in and out of person. Welcoming waiting room with short waits. I highly recommend Dr. Elaine Slepak, Au. D. an Arizona trained doctor. Her certificate and degree wall is impressive. Because I haven't actually had appointments with the other Audiologists I cannot speak to them. But as is most common, birds of a feather flock together.

I’m so glad I found Dr. Olsen on YouTube. His videos have been so helpful, answering every question I had about the care and maintenance of my new hearing aids. I had purchased them locally and hadn’t gotten anything close to the help he provided in these videos. Overall, I felt happy with my new hearing aids, but something was bothering me. I’m producing music in my retirement years, but was only given one general program in my Oticon hearing aids; despite the fact that a good part of their cost is probably due to their capability to handle four programs. I was only using 25% of my hearing aids’ capability. I explained all of this to my audiologist, who said I’d been given their standard care and that was all she could do. Watching Dr. Olsen's videos, it seemed to me that he would have the technical skills to help me. That’s why I decided to fly from Anchorage to Phoenix to see him in person. The trip was totally worth it. He tailored my general program much more closely to my specific needs and gave me an additional program devoted to mixing music. I flew home with two remote visits scheduled, where he would make the finer adjustments. During our session, I asked if he could give me a third program, so that I can hear my young grand daughters’ voices better. I was amazed that he was able to do that too, remotely. Now I have a grand daughter program and I couldn’t be happier. The purchase of my hearing aids was already a big improvement in my life, but it was Dr. Olsen who had the technical know-how to maximize my expensive hearing aids to the point where I couldn’t be any happier or more grateful.
