Diamond House Detox provides treatment for substance use issues at their two locations in Elk Grove and Sacramento. Their Elk Grove house is used primarily for detoxification, a process that usually lasts seven to 10 days. The Diamond House Detox Elk Grove house is in a residential setting with comfortable rooms that are both private and luxurious.
Going to Diamond House was the best thing I've done for myself in a long time. They helped me get sober in a comfortable environment. The food, accomodations and staff are all five stars in my book. I'm so grateful for them and for the Alumni program for aftercare. I was terrified to go but within hours I knew I had done the right thing and was in the right place for it. I'm forever grateful!

New Dawn Treatment Center is a behavioral health and addiction recovery facility in Elk Grove, California, offering comprehensive treatment programs for individuals struggling with substance abuse and mental health conditions. The center provides intensive outpatient programs (IOP), partial hospitalization programs (PHP), dual-diagnosis treatment, trauma-informed therapy, relapse prevention support, and specialized care for pregnant and postpartum women.
The staff at IOP helped me grow and build a new foundation for my life. At first, I didn’t think I needed it but looking back, I absolutely did. I’m grateful I chose to enter the program to create a better path for myself. I volunteered to do this so I could develop a more stable and grounded perspective on life through my own lens.
Self-reflection is everything, especially when it comes to recognizing your character defects and how others may view you. This place gave me the tools to gain insight, build resilience, and face difficult situations with strength. Through it all, my faith in God carried me. Each day I’ve had to make the choice to surrender to Him, trusting His plan even when I didn’t understand it. He gave me guidance and direction when I felt lost. If you don’t have a higher power, I encourage you to find something greater than yourself to believe in. That kind of belief gives you strength, purpose, and the ability to keep going when things get hard. Have the courage and discipline to stay consistent with the classes even when you don’t feel like it because just showing up is a powerful act of growth. Over time, it helps build new habits and a healthier routine.
I want to thank all the counselors and therapists who guided us through the process. While some parts may feel repetitive, they serve a purpose. In the end, you gain a deeper understanding of yourself and how to live differently.
Stay open-minded and willing to learn. You don’t know everything and that’s okay. Everyone teaches from a different perspective and that diversity can give you a brand new outlook on life
