Nancy L. Thompson Law Office, P.C., From 2006 to 2008 Nancy was Chair of the Iowa State Bar Association Commercial and Bankruptcy Section. In 2007 she was named Outstanding Section Chair for Legislative Advocacy for her successful efforts to improve Iowa’s personal property exemptions on behalf of debtors. She is a member of the Iowa State Bar Association and the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys. Nancy has authored several publications and articles about bankruptcy, student loan law, mortgage foreclosure and farm credit and is a frequent speaker at legal seminars.
