About Scottsdale Historical Museum
Scottsdale Historical Museum displays, preserves and interprets the prehistory, history and cultural heritage of Scottsdale in Arizona through research, exhibits and educational programming. The museum offers various kinds of memberships for individuals, families, senior citizens and patrons. It organizes a variety of events at its facility, such as appreciation lunches and musical nights. Scottsdale Historical Museum has a gift shop that offers a wide selection of children s books, including "The Goat in the Rug," "Cactus Caf ," "Alejandro s Gift," " Scottsdale Historical Coloring Book" and "This House is made of Mud."

This is a terrific, free, extremely informative historical museum. The exhibit inside contained many amazing pictures and walls of information illustrating Scottsdale’s history. Thank you to the very friendly team up front who helped answer our questions! There is also a free public restroom right next door.
