Melanson Law Group, Jack and Ned are not just experienced disability lawyers. They handle each client’s claim with compassionate and individual attention, because they know each person has a unique story to tell. Whether you worked as a nurse for 30 years, or as a telephone lineman, an IT executive, a teacher, or a car salesperson, you took pride in your work. And now, because of your disabilities, you can no longer do the thing that defined your career. It’s heartbreaking, but it shouldn’t break your bank. That’s where disability benefits come in.

Customer Review
Great SSDI lawyers in Cambridge. The attorneys at this small firm did an excellent job representing us in a difficult disability case. They are professional, caring, knowledgeable, and articulate. I was impressed by their responsiveness to questions, their willingness to keep us updated at every stage of the process, and their knowledge of disability law. Both Ned and Jack put in many hours constructing a legal brief that brought our case to a wholly successful decision after a hearing. I highly recommend them.

Altman & Altman LLP, Social Security uses both medical criteria and non-medical criteria to determine whether someone is eligible for disability benefits. In order to be eligible, you need meet two different earnings tests. The first is a recent work test, which is based on your age at the time you became disabled. The second is a duration of work test to prove that you worked long enough under Social Security. Remember Social Security only pays for total disability.
After a full year of stress, anxiety, and uncertainty due to false allegations, our case was finally dismissed, and I cannot express how grateful we are for the support and dedication of Attorney Stephen Goldwyn & Zack Perry. From day one, they were professional, knowledgeable, and reassuring during one of the most difficult times of our life. They took the time to explain every step, and answered questions with patience. Their expertise and commitment truly made all the difference. I am beyond thankful for their hard work and would highly recommend them to anyone who needs strong, professional, compassionate legal representation.
