Customer Review
This place does pretty good as a municipal golf course. Easy to get tee times and the driving range is nice. Price isn't bad, the 9 hole can be more challenging than others since there is a lot of water hazards.

Spring Valley Golf Course is an 18 hole golf course measuring 6,140 yards from the tips. The course serves the communities of San Jose, Milpitas,Fremont, Sunnyvale, Mt. View as well as Gilroy, Redwood City, Hayward and San Leandro. It offers a challenging round of golf for all golfer levels (4 tee locations) set in the beautiful, panoramic Milpitas foothills away from both traffic and housing developments – ten miles from the San Jose Airport.
I love this golf course, I think it is one of the best values in the Bay Area for golf. The course is always nicely maintained and the price is extremely affordable. You can come for twilight during the week and play 18 for cheaper than 9 at Pruneridge or Sunken Gardens. The course is always nicely maintained but in Summer in can get a little dry (it is in the hills of course!). It also isn't a hard course but good for the fundamentals. The driving range is also fantastic, they even have an offer for a monthly range membership, $100/month gets you a large bucket daily. Decent chipping area and a pretty good putting green. There are usually some deer and turkeys roaming around, maybe even some grumpy geese. I love this place.

The Golf Club at Moffett Field, In a twist of irony, the original, very-flat course was named the “Hill Course” in honor of Captain Arthur S. Hill, the Commanding Officer at Moffett when the facility opened in 1959. Designed by Bob E. Baldock, the course began as a 9-hole venue before expanding to 18-holes 10 years later. Originally managed by the Navy, Air Force, and then NASA, The Golf Club at Moffett Field is now managed by OB Sports/Troon Golf.
This golf course is beautifully maintained, offering lush fairways and smooth greens that make every round enjoyable. The layout is both challenging and rewarding, with scenic views that add to the experience. The staff are welcoming and attentive, making it a perfect place for both seasoned players and beginners to enjoy the game.
